I'm loving college, there's sadly not a lot of time for quake 2 though... 

You know you're addicted to Quake 2 when...

1. You type "t before everything you say in instant messengers.
2. You enter a server you often hang out at and at least 3 players say hi to you
3. You have more Quake 2 friends than real life friends.
4. People have given you nicknames in place of your screen name.
5. You have been accused of cheating.
6. You have been in a clan or are in a clan.
7. You have drop binds for team play matches.
8. You have binds for phrases you don't have time to type up when you're playing.
9. You have a habit of switching weapons between rail/rockets and vice versa, especially when you miss.
10. You have binds for chain and/or super shotgun.
11. You know who is who just by their playing style, skin, what they say, or ping...even when they are under an alias.
12. Some people take your screen name as your real name.
13. People tell you to "get with times" but you're still playing Quake 2 anyway.
14. You can do funky jumps the typical player cannot do.
15. You know most of your Quake 2 friends' real names but you hardly ever use them, you go by their alias instead.
16. You get frustrated when you lag and then get killed.
17. You swear under your breath when you kill your teammate in tdm.
18. You enjoy observing others to learn new tricks. (or you watch demos for fun :P)
19. You know how to edit demos.
20. You know how to create Quake 2 maps.
21. You are a mIRC junkie.
22. You enjoy messing around with your Quake 2 settings. (sensitivity, colors, sounds, etc.)
23. You can relate to this phrase, "Quake 2, we know drama."
24. You instinctively open quake 2 by accident.
25. You go to bed at 5 am every Monday morning, even though you have to get up for work at 8, because you are up playing quake.
26. You actually say the letters 'lol' when someone says something funny.
27. You have conversations between frags that are more interesting than when you are in an actual chat room or sometimes even in real life.
28. You need to lose weight. big time.
29. You dream about quake 2.
30. You say 'pwned'
31. You can type "connect <server ip> quicker than it take for quake to load the console.
32. Your hubby or wifey tells to come to bed and you keep telling them to hold on... then you eventually never come.
33. You eat meals between games while watching a game being played.
34. You have a separate hard drive specifically for quake only, regardless of size.
35. You are still reading this.
36. You get nervous before playing (1v1/tdm) and fret about it if you're not winning or playing well
37. You get wound up by idiots on the servers
38. You host servers for people to play on.
39. You get bored with the single player version.
40. You make the scoreboard.
41. You get first place on every map.
42. You call people newbs/noobs in real life.
43. You put off eating to continue playing quake.
44. Instead of hanging out with friends and having a social life, you go home to play quake.
45. You have seen some idiot doing something stupid and thought to yourself "pad camper."
46. You have a quake symbol tattooed somewhere on your body.
47. You lay down to rest a bit at the start of another's match and fall asleep.
48. You wake up to find out you have a 1 gig quake demo recorded.
49. People can figure out your movement key setup by just looking at the dirty keys.
50. You look at stairs, boxes, buildings, and railings in real life and try to imagine what jump moves would be possible to accomplish if it were a quake map.
51. You draw quake symbols on things around you in everyday life... fogged mirror/dirty car/test papers/a nice patch of fresh white snow...
52. Your girlfriend makes you an arts and crafts quake 2 wall ornament.
53. You know the IPs by heart of more than 3 servers.
54. You can think of this many things just by looking around the room and thinking about your life.
55. You keep your fingers on your movement keys while surfing the 'net or reading.
56. Your .cfg file is larger than 5k.
57. You get on any computer and put your fingers on the movement keys.
58. When you spend spare time thinking about a good design for a tastyspleen wallpaper
59. When instead of paying attention at work/school, you think about your next post on the quake 2 forums.
60. When you immediately buy the latest version of quake, just so you can say how much better quake 2 is.
61. You browse the quake 2 forums when you don't have access to quake 2.
62. You're one of the best active players of the game.
63. You introduce your 7 year-old son/daughter to quake 2 and coach him/her hoping that s/he'll become the next quake 2 LEGEND.
